Hiding under my bed, the footstep sounds were getting closer, it was climbing up the stairs I think. That footstep was so soft that I had to be completely concentrated to locate which way it was coming from and which way it was heading. I heard it scratching with that grating noise, it sounded like it had something sharp rubbing against a piece of cloth. Then the sound changed, something hard was dragged along the floor and made the finger-nail-scratching-board sound and made me extremely uncomfortable. Most of my vision was blocked by the bed sheet but peeping through the crack between the floor and bedsheets, I could see the shadow of it was moving slowly. Its tail was waving like a snake, and then… it disappeared. The light went off, I was surrounded by the darkness and a sense of weird smell. It was getting even closer! It was weird that a smell of lobsters filled the air around me. My hands were sweaty and I was so scared of that unknown creature. I decided to keep hiding under my bed and see what would happen. Anxiously awaiting it to be gone for half an hour, it did not seem to leave my room. A pair of light green pearls were reflected by the mirror nearby and it was making the ‘pur~pur~’ sound. If it didn’t want to leave, then I would. I crawled out from under the bed in a different corner, slowly standing up and heading to the door. Suddenly it occurred to me, that pair of green pearls, they looked like… Bonny’s eyes! Everything started making sense. Bonny loves the smell of lobsters so much that she decided to carry one piece of it and searching for other cat food all around the house.
